Study Club

I launched the London Orthodontics – Study Club in November 2010 for central London practitioners.   We meet three to four times a year and the aim is to provide CPD topics and speakers from a variety of dental backgrounds, but with relevant messages for the busy practitioner.

At our inaugural meeting in November 2010, guest speaker Dr Julian Webber spoke on Endodontic emergencies.  This was followed by Dr Elaine Giedrys-Leeper in March 2011 who spoke on Soft tissue grafting – racing certainty or Russian roulette?, and Fiona Stuart Wilson in June on The reality of CQC registration: Seven key things you need to know about CQC for your private practice, Dr Lloyd Searson in October 2011 on Implants – why we still fail and most recently Dr Mike Wise,  on “Aesthetics for tooth and implant supported prostheses – some thoughts and techniques”.
