Dr Simon Manara has practiced orthodontics exclusively since 1999. He is on the specialist list of the General Dental Council in orthodontics and oral surgery.
He has a particular interest in early treatment in appropriate cases, lingual braces in teenagers, and the use of advanced anchorage devices.
Your child’s first orthodontic check-up should be no later than age seven to check for and prevent certain problems early.
Clear aligners, such as Invisalign™, are high-tech removable appliances which are thin and see-through.
Braces placed on the inside of the teeth are called Lingual braces and are totally discreet and invisible.
